This short movie was made part of DVD (Detroit Video Discovery).  7 found-footage movies were made part of the anthology.

 

 

Creating and Finding Demo Reels

I have never made a demo with the intent to find work before.  Networking has always been the key to finding work for me.

I am told however that I should have a demo.  While looking for footage to use I found a demo that I completely forgot about.  It was made as a part of a show I was doing for college credit.  This demo was never shared before today and was only used as apart of a box set that was apart of my senior credit when I was apart of The Quad Spot.

 

The Quad Spot was a podcast that was about “The Next Generation of Youtubers”.
I am currently working on a similar show that focuses more on the topics mentioned in the demo, as well as merging traditional media with online and social media.   (more information visit StreamLine Buzzer.

I included a Quad Spot clip (I liked the intro I edited)  and some various events and footage.  I didn’t not include lecture, multi-camera events, or any of the man on the street footage.  I just not sure what all to have in a demo reel and how to present it.

Star Wars Casting Call, With or Without a Troll?

This past weekend I met up some friends and interviewed some of the people auditioning for Star Wars Episode VII

I am currently changing the way I am going to do events.  I like my Troll character, he gets lots of attention.  The mask itself is hot and sometimes it is hard to understand me.

What do you think of me no longer using the mask?

Should I do a new show?

I have been thinking about expanding on Toaden’s Talk box.  I like doing this show but I only do it once in awhile (click here for playlist)

I have been in talks with Tube Pioneer about doing a similiar show but focused on filmaking, both traditional and on-line.

This is the trial run on what I was thinking of doing for that kind of show (Still under the name Toaden’s Talk Box)

Now Tube Pioneer itself is changing it’s name.

Currently they are voting on the logo (check it out)
